VISITOR REGULATIONS



  1. Entrance of individuals under the influence of illicit substances is prohibited.
  2. Entrance of any type of weapon or dangerous device is prohibited.
  3. Entrance of packaged food or drinks in glass, can, or cardboard containers is prohibited (only water in a personal bottle is allowed). Remember not to leave your trash. Exception: you may bring sandwiches and fruits. Please do not bring food in cans, glass, or cardboard packaging.
  4. Noise and any type of sound-producing devices are not allowed.
  5. No pets are allowed, under any circumstances.
  6. The use of flash for photography is prohibited.
  7. Entrance without a guide is not allowed at night.
  8. Leaving the designated path is prohibited.
  9. Manipulating or collecting the flora or fauna of the area is prohibited.
  10. Do not approach animals closer than 2 meters.
  11. Smoking is prohibited.
  12. The consumption of alcohol is prohibited.
  13. Entrance of individuals without prior authorization and outside of our hours (6:00 AM to 6:00 PM) is prohibited.
  14. Entry is prohibited after 3:30 PM. The mountain darkens quickly. Last entry: 3:30 PM.
  15. The use of drones without express authorization is prohibited.
  16. The use of artificial lights during wildlife observation is not allowed.
  17. The making of bonfires or any type of burning within the reserve area is prohibited.
  18. Visitors must follow the guide's instructions at all times to ensure the safety of everyone.
  19. Leaving trash on the trail is not allowed; each visitor must carry out all generated waste.
  20. The use of non-eco-friendly repellents or pesticides within the reserve is prohibited.
  21. In case of bad weather (storms or heavy rain), activities may be suspended for safety reasons.
  22. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult throughout the visit.
  23. Fishing or hunting is not allowed in any of the park or reserve areas.
  24. Activities that alter the natural balance of the ecosystem, such as introducing non-native species, are prohibited.

ABOUT NON-COMPLIANCE WITH THE RULES

All our visitors must carry an identity document and sign the civil liability agreement before taking the tour.

Non-compliance with any of these rules, by either a visitor or guide, will result in expulsion from our facilities and a permanent ban on entry, as well as the corresponding legal measure regarding wildlife, private property, and the right of admission.

Tour Cancellation Policy – Ecos del Bosque

  1. Cancellation by the visitor:
    • Cancellation without charge (up to 48 hours before the tour): Visitors can cancel their tour without charge up to 48 hours before the tour’s start date. If cancellation occurs within this period, 100% of the payment made will be refunded.
    • Cancellation with charge (within 48 hours): If the visitor cancels the tour within 48 hours of the tour date, a 100% charge of the total tour amount will apply.
    • No Show (failure to show up): If the visitor fails to show up at the scheduled date and time without prior cancellation, no refund will be provided. The total tour amount will be charged.
  2. Cancellation by Ecos del Bosque:
    • Cancellation due to weather conditions: If the tour is affected by extreme weather conditions (storms, floods, etc.) or any other circumstance beyond our control that represents a safety risk to visitors, the tour will be canceled at no charge, and rescheduling or a full refund will be offered.
    • Cancellation due to lack of availability: If we are unable to offer the tour due to an unexpected situation (e.g., lack of staff), we will offer a rescheduling of the tour or a full refund of the amount paid.
  3. Reservation modifications:
    • Tour rescheduling: Visitors can request to reschedule their tour at no additional charge up to 72 hours before the scheduled date. Requests for rescheduling received within the 72 hours prior to the tour incur no charge; however, rescheduling within 48 hours will incur a 10% charge.
    • Name change or transfer of reservation: Visitors may transfer their reservation to another person at no additional charge, as long as notice is given at least 24 hours before the tour date.
  4. Cancellation procedure:
    • Cancellations must be made in writing via email to infoecosdelbosque@gmail.com
    • Once the cancellation request is received, it will be processed according to the timelines and policies outlined above, and the visitor will be notified via email.
  5. Exceptions:
    • No exceptions will be made to these policies, except in cases of personal emergency, such as serious illness or accidents, which will be evaluated at the discretion of Ecos del Bosque's management.
